Teen Universe Petite USA

Mya Sanchez, a 16-year-old sophomore and varsity cheerleader from Canutillo High School in El Paso, Texas, is set to represent the United States as Teen Universe Petite USA in April 2025 in the Dominican Republic. Of Mexican-American, Indigenous (MX), French, and Scottish heritage, Mya began her modeling and pageantry journey in 2023 to rebuild her self-confidence after facing some difficult challenges.

 

An accomplished model signed with Laura’s Production, EFM Model Management, and MMG NY, Mya has graced prestigious events like NYFW, LAFW, Miami Swim Week, and has even appeared on a few New York City billboards. 

 

Her experiences in modeling and pageantry helped her heal, step out of her comfort zone, and embrace her unique qualities. She advocates for self-confidence, aiming to help other girls feel their authentic best.

 

Mya founded two nonprofits: Love, M.Y.A. (Modeling Youth Advocate), which offers monthly workshops to build self-confidence in young women, and Borderland Cinderella, which provides free dresses for pageants, prom, and homecoming. 

 

When not empowering others, Mya shines on the runway.
